Today I was sick
Today I was sick and Jeff thought he'd do me a favor by fixing me some soup. Well, next thing I know is that I'm laughing hard on our bed realizing Jeff brought me my soup in a giant mixing bowl. Figures. I thought he knew that we had original bowls to eat out of. His excuse, "the other bowls weren't big enough". haha, I guess men are a blessing in that they fix us soup and make us laugh all in one. ;) Plus, I'd have to say, I sure do love mine.

Jeff's Birthday
Another memory I have of Jeff is when we were dating little did I know how much he really liked me. He had his birthday party with his family one weekend and invited me to come with him. Well, when they had him blow on the candles, he made a wish, and as soon as he made it he was blowing those candles like nobody's business! Well, one of Jeff's brother's turned to Jeff and said, "Man," looking straight at Jeff, "you must really want your wish to happen bad." Jeff smiled and looked at me. I guess, even from the beginning Jeff was wishing we would end up together. :) And we did.

Alaska Trip
So a memory I have of Jeff and our Alaska trip is how excited he was to go on an airplane and the cruise ship. When we first got on the airplane I kept laughing because Jeff got the first window seat, but Jeff's head was right in front of the window the entire time. People would agree when I would say his nose was 2 inches away from the plastic. The whole two hour first flight Jeff was looking out the window even though he brought a book he was so excited that he couldn't keep his head away from the window. I was giggling because it was seriously the cutest thing I had ever seen. Same with one of my sisters. Well, when we finally got to the cruise Jeff was running, no joke, running up and down the stairs through the hallways in front of a lot of rich onery people excited just to see his first cruise ship. What a cutie this boy is, and an adventure for me to try new things with him!!!
Laundry
So Jeff was helping me out with the laundry today and he pulls out a pair of socks and says, "Hey Kaylee, since when did we have baby socks?" I burst out in laughter. 'what is he talking about?' I thought. I go into our bedroom and he pulls out a pair of my socks thinking they're small enough to be baby socks. However, they are just my size! So in reality Jeff thinks I have baby feet is my conclusion of the day.

Mistletoe
One memory I have of Jeff is during Christmas time he put up mistletoe in other apartments trying to trick other people into kissing each other. He did that to one of my old roommates and we laughed and made sure they kissed in front of everybody. To our disadvantage, Jeff and I (before we had officially kissed) found each other under the mistletoe. Also my old roommate and her boyfriend were there making sure we would kiss. Well, Jeff went in for the kill to completely kiss me. Me, I felt dumb being in front of an audience and decided to turn my cheek. Poor Jeff, it was obvious to everyone that was a super awkward kiss mostly because of me... :( But it left for funny stories between Jeff and I.

Famous Jeff quote of the day
"I don't know, I'm not my tastebuds." In his response to chocolate waffles that we had tonight. :) Apparently he didn't like them so much....

EXPLORING ;)
Well, so Jeff and I found out through some friends of ours that there's a really cool canyon for us to go rock climbing on. So we went there this weekend and found out the places we can go. It ended up being turned into just a hike because I am scared of heights. So Jeff and I went on a hike up Rock Canyon and had a blast! We also made some cookies together. Jeff thought he'd get all creative, so he accidentally added too much butter leaving him with the only solution to double the cookies recipe. Well, we ended up making the recipe split into half chocolate chip cookies and the other half chocolate cookies. They were both really good! I'm guessing Jeff is super happy that he doubled that recipe now. We also watched the Man in the Iron Mask, and Jeff loved that too I think. He didn't want to stop it so we could watch it the next day because it was getting late (for me, because I like to sleep earlier) so we ended up watching the whole thing that night. He loved it.

Repelling in a Waterfall!
Jeff and I had such a blast yesterday! Saw two of my siblings running in x-country here in American Fork. Then we went out to eat with my dad and two siblings, and then we cleaned, changed Jeff's oil, went repelling and to the Pleasant Grove Library. We ended our great Saturday with a pizza and movie. What an AWESOME day!

Killer whale family breaching over and over again

Two baby cubs following their mother and learning how to hunt for fish. After about 15 minutes the mother finally caught the first fish. Must have been her first time fishing.
Jeff's pretty proud of this picture he took, so I thought I'd put it on our blog.
Then on Tuesday once we were in Juneau, we decided to go exploring so we went on a tour to explore the whales and bears, and oh boy did we see tons! We were super lucky, we saw so many animals and up close too!

On Wednesday we got to Skagway, and honestly there wasn't too much sightseeing here. There was a rock-climbing place that Jeff wanted to go to, but we weren't able to go there. So Jeff and I agreed to go Zip-Lining. It was pretty cool! Ask Jeff all about it, he'll have to show you some of his tricks. In fact, some of them will be on this blog!
Finally, we had one more day on sea with nothing really to do, but go miniature golfing and playing basketball. ;) Here's a picture Jeff took of my family showing off their stuff as they're about to begin their golfing tournament.
Thursday we're at sea again, but this time we get to see Glacier Bay. Here are a few pictures Jeff took. WOW it was neat!!! There are over thousands of glacier's just at Glacier Bay, and the best part is that you can only view them by boat or airplane. So we were so lucky! We also went to College Fjord on Friday. It had quite a few glaciers as well, but not as many as Glacier Bay.

Jeff's so awesome! He wants to point out a glacier for all of us to see!
Jeff and I at College Fjord, you can see three of the glaciers in the background. 8/17/12
Jeff and I at our final destination in the Anchorage Airport. Here stands a record tall Grizzly Bear that was shot in Millward Alaska. The Anchorage Airport pays to keep it here on display. 8/20/12
Well, the end of our trip is near, and Monday we leave the Anchorage Airport, but not before seeing the record-bearing bears they had at the airport in Anchorage, Alaska. And finally came home late Monday night after travelling all day on Monday.
What a great Trip!!!
